On July 21 the draw ceremony of the qualification of WTA Baltic Open 2019 took place.
The top seed Austrian Barbara Haas will face Francesca Jones from Great Britain. The second seed Paula Ormaechea from Argentina will take on the Serb Dejana Radanovic.
The last year quarterfinalist of Moscow River Cup Valentyna Ivakhnenko will square off with the Kazakh wild card holder Galina Voskoboeva in the R1 match.
Kamilla Bartone, the runner up of the junior doubles Wimbledon-2019 tournament, who was also handed a wild card into the quallies, will vie for spot in the next round with the 10th seed Julia Grabher from Austria. Another Latvian tennis player Daniela Vismane will play v. Ulrikke Eikeri from Norway.
Ksenia Aleshina (Russia) and Zoe Kruger (RSA), the wild cards owners to the qualification of WTA Baltic Open 2019 will get to play their first round matches against Basak Eraydin (Turkey) and Isabella Shinikova (Bulgaria) accordingly.
