KATARZYNA KAWA: «I WAS THINKING THAT IT'D BE NICE TO PASS QUALIFICATION AND NOW I'M IN SEMIS"

- How do you feel about the match?

- I was already expecting that my opponent will play really good. I saw the last round of her, so I knew that she's serving really good and has big serves. I was really happy that I found a way to win. It was quite important for me.

- Are you preparing for your next possible opponent? What do you know about her?

- They didn't play yet; It's only going to be the last match of today. I'll try to watch it a little bit. All the girls that are here, I don't know them really well, maybe just seen them a little bit on TV. I'm quite new at WTA tennis, but I think I'm doing well.

- How do you like the courts here?

- For me it's quite nice. They're fast, they're similar to Roland Garros in Paris, which is really good for me.

- How about the weather? It's getting quite hot and it might get even hotter the next days. Do you think it will affect your game?

- I'm okay with it. It's not as hot as it is in my country. It's an Eastern European country, so you can understand.

- How did you like the crowd at this game? They were getting quite active in some moments.

- Sometimes it was tough, because I thought that they were cheering my opponent pretty hard as well. I knew that I had my coach with me and I'm playing for myself, so I was just trying to focus on the game, not on the crowd.

- You're so close to finals. How are you preparing yourself for that idea?

- Before this tournament I didn't think about it. I was thinking that it would be nice to pass qualification and now I'm in semifinals. I think I did my job pretty well and I'm just taking day by day.

- Do you have a special ritual to prepare for your next game?

- Not really. I will do what I do every day and play the match.
