Slovakian tennis player Tamara Zidansek commented on her performance in "MOSCOW RIVER CUP presented by INGRAD", whete she lost to Russian Anastasia Potapova in semi-final.
Tamara: The conditions were pretty different to other days; it was hot and it was not easy to play long points. We played for two hours, so it was pretty tough physically.
I felt the heat after maybe 15 or 20 minutes of play. I started feeling weird. I didn't feel comfortable. I started feeling bad – I had stomach ache – in the middle of the first set and I was trying really hard to make the points shorter and to come out on top. But she was really playing well, hitting some good shots. I couldn't play longer points and it was really about how I was going to react to her shots.
Obviously, I can't say that I'm disappointed. It was a really good week for me. I'll definitely remember Moscow!
I'm going to play New Haven, the US Open and then I'll go to Asia. So that's my plan and I'll see if I can achieve my goals there.
